Short answer: Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026, and Cyber Monday is 30 November. The biggest confirmed gaming deal so far is the PlayStation Store Black Friday sale, with up to 75% off PS5, PS4 and PS VR2 games. It runs from 4 to 30 November, with new deals added on 16 November. Nintendo is offering Switch 2 bundles that save $28 to $38. Sony and Microsoft have not announced any console price cuts, so do not count on a cheap PS5 or Xbox this year.

When is Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday falls on 27 November 2026, the day after US Thanksgiving. Cyber Monday is 30 November. Many gaming sales start well before that: the PlayStation Store sale began on 4 November.

- Dates: 4 November at midnight local time until 30 November at 11:59 pm local time.
- Two phases: some deals end on 20 November, and a fresh batch of deals is added on 16 November.
- Discounts: up to 75% off PS5, PS4 and PS VR2 games and add-ons.

Nintendo Switch 2 deals: confirmed
The Switch 2 costs $499.99 in the US since 1 September 2026, up from $449.99 at launch. The best way to save this season is a bundle:
- Switch 2 + Switch Sports Resort: $529.99, a saving of $27.98 on buying them separately, while stocks last.
- Switch 2 + Mario Kart World: a saving of $37.98, according to Nintendo.
- The Legend of Zelda Switch 2 Edition console is listed by retailers at $519.99, but it keeps selling out.
If you are buying a Switch 2 this year, the new Ocarina of Time remake is the headline game of the season.
PS5 and Xbox prices: no Black Friday cuts announced
Retailers currently list the PS5 at about $649.99 (disc) and $599.99 (Digital Edition), and the PS5 Pro at $899.99, which has sold out after restocks. PlayStation Plus members get 5% off consoles and accessories bought directly from Sony. Neither Sony nor Microsoft has announced Black Friday console discounts, and early November checks found no PS5 price cuts. Microsoft has not published current Xbox Series X pricing, and reports point to prices rising, not falling.

Subscription deals
No Black Friday discounts on PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass have been announced yet. Both services are changing their line-ups this month: see PS Plus November 2026 (GTA V leaves on 17 November) and Xbox Game Pass November 2026 (13 games leave on 15 November).
How to get the best gaming deals this Black Friday
- Compare prices in your region. Store discounts vary by country, and the same game can be cheaper at a retailer than on the console store.
- Check the edition. Many of the biggest percentage cuts are on Deluxe editions, and the standard edition may be cheaper still.
- Watch the 16 November refresh. The PlayStation Store adds new deals then, and some current deals end on 20 November.
- Remember free games. Monthly PS Plus and Game Pass games may already cover something on your wish list.
