Short answer: The PlayStation Plus monthly games for November 2026 are Dead Island 2 (PS5, PS4), Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered (PS5, PS4) and Monster Train 2 (PS5). Claim them by 30 November. On 17 November, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 leave the Extra and Premium catalogue, two days before GTA 6 launches. Up to 10 other games leave the same day.
November is a big month for PlayStation players: a solid trio of monthly games, a Black Friday sale already running and the biggest launch in years on 19 November. Here is everything in and out of PS Plus this month.
PS Plus Essential monthly games, November 2026
These three games are available to every PS Plus tier (Essential, Extra and Premium) from 3 November until 30 November. Claim them before then and they stay in your library for as long as you keep your membership.
| Game | Platforms | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Dead Island 2 | PS5, PS4 | First-person zombie action set in a gory, sun-soaked Los Angeles |
| Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered | PS5, PS4 | Remastered versions of three classic Lara Croft adventures |
| Monster Train 2 | PS5 | A roguelike deck-builder where you defend a train from waves of enemies |
Leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium on 17 November
Catalogue games are different from monthly games: you can only play them while they are in the catalogue. If you are partway through any of these, finish them or buy them before 17 November.
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Football Manager 26
- The Talos Principle 2
- Cricket 24
- Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break
- Thank Goodness You're Here (select regions)
- Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom (select regions)
- Hotshot Racing (select regions)
- Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair (select regions)
- Rapala Fishing: Pro Series (select regions)
- Yet Another Zombie Defense HD (select regions)
Six of these leave only in some regions, which is why some outlets count 11 or fewer.
Why is GTA V leaving PS Plus?
Sony has not given a reason. The timing stands out, though: both of Rockstar's big open-world games leave on 17 November, two days before Grand Theft Auto VI launches on 19 November. Catalogue deals are licensing agreements with fixed end dates, and Rockstar has a new game to sell, so many observers see a connection. That is an inference, though, not something either company has confirmed.
What it means for you: if you play GTA Online through PS Plus, you will need to buy GTA V to keep playing after 17 November. Your GTA Online character and progress are tied to your Rockstar account, so they are not lost.
Extra and Premium additions
Sony usually reveals the Extra and Premium catalogue additions around the middle of the month, and November's list had not been announced at the time of writing. We will add it here as soon as it is confirmed.
