Bone Siege
A skeleton army is marching on the castle. Five heroes, one stone wall and endless waves. Your squad fights on its own; you decide how it grows.
How to play Bone Siege
Skeletons march down the road towards your castle wall in waves. Your heroes stand on top of the wall and attack automatically. Skeletons that reach the wall start smashing it, and the wall bar at the top of the screen shows how much it can take. Clear every skeleton in a wave and the next one begins after a short countdown. Every fifth wave ends with a giant boss, the Bone Lord.
Focus fire
Your heroes pick their own targets, turn to face them and fire once they are lined up. To take control, tap any skeleton on the road: a red ring marks it and every ranged hero switches to it for six seconds. Use it to bring down a warrior before it reaches the wall, or to finish off a boss.
Every skeleton drops gold, and each cleared wave pays a bonus. Tap Upgrades at any time to spend it. The game pauses while the panel is open.
Your heroes
| Hero | Role | What they do |
|---|---|---|
| Wren | Crossbow rogue | Fast bolts at the skeleton closest to the wall. Your first hero. |
| Sir Bram | Shield knight | Strikes every skeleton battering the wall in front of him, and makes the wall take 15% less damage. |
| Ivy | Fire mage | Lobs fireballs at the biggest group of skeletons for area damage. |
| Bjorn | Axe thrower | Throws axes that bounce to two more nearby skeletons. |
| Shade | Sniper | Fires heavy bolts at the toughest skeleton on the field that pierce through three in a row. |
Recruit heroes with gold, then level them up. Each level adds about 19% damage and a little attack speed.
Abilities
- Meteor (unlocks at wave 3): a fireball from the sky slams into the densest group of skeletons.
- Frost (wave 6): freezes the road, slowing every skeleton for six seconds.
- Rally (wave 10): your whole squad attacks twice as fast for eight seconds.
Tap an ability button to use it. A dark fill shows the cooldown until you can use it again.
When the wall falls
If the skeletons break the wall, you fall back to the start of the current block of five waves, for example from wave 13 back to wave 11. You keep all your gold, heroes and upgrades, so each attempt makes you stronger.
Idle gold
Your progress is saved in your browser. When you come back, your heroes will have collected gold while you were away, for up to eight hours. The further you have pushed, the more they earn. You can see your idle rate in the Upgrades panel.
Tips
- Recruit Sir Bram early. Fewer skeletons survive at the wall, and the damage reduction adds up.
- Ivy's fireballs shine from wave 10 onwards, when the road gets crowded.
- Save Meteor for the boss waves, or for the moment a crowd reaches the wall.
- Tap the boss as soon as it appears so the whole squad focuses it.
- If you keep failing the same wave, reinforce the wall once and level your cheapest hero.
- Shade is expensive, but nothing else melts bosses and armoured warriors as fast.
