Lane Dash
A morning jog through the park turns into an obstacle course. Dodge, jump and slide for as long as you can keep up.
How to play Lane Dash
Your runner jogs forward on their own along a three-lane park path. The path keeps getting busier and the pace keeps rising. Your job is to steer around everything in the way. Touching an obstacle ends the run.
Controls
| Action | Phone or tablet | Computer |
|---|---|---|
| Change lane | Swipe left or right | ← → or A D |
| Jump | Swipe up, or tap | ↑, W or Space |
| Slide | Swipe down | ↓ or S |
Swiping down while in the air pulls you straight back to the ground, which is handy when you jumped too early.
Obstacles
- Park benches are low. Jump over them.
- Banners hang between two poles. Slide under them.
- Food carts are big and long. You cannot jump or slide past them, so switch lanes.
Every row of obstacles leaves at least one way through. Banners and benches only start mixing in after the first stretch of the run.
Scoring
You score one point for every two meters you run and ten points for every coin. Coins appear in lines in open lanes, and sometimes in an arc over a bench, which you can only grab by jumping.
Tips
- Stay in the middle lane when you can. It is one swipe from both sides.
- Look two rows ahead, not just at the next obstacle. Plan your lane before you reach it.
- Jump late. The runner covers more ground in the air at high speed, so early jumps land on the bench.
- Coins are worth it early, when the pace is slow. Later, survival matters more than one extra coin.
Questions
Does Lane Dash ever end?
No. It is an endless runner: the course keeps generating and the speed keeps climbing until you crash.
It feels slow on my phone. What can I do?
The game lowers its resolution automatically if your device struggles. Closing other tabs and apps also helps.
