How to play Spot Kick 3D
Spot Kick 3D is a penalty shootout against the computer. You and the computer take turns: you shoot, then you keep goal while the computer shoots. After five kicks each, the side with more goals wins. If it is level, the shootout goes to sudden death: one kick each until one side scores and the other misses.
Taking a penalty
Put your finger on the ball and swipe towards the goal. Where your swipe ends decides where the ball goes: further left or right aims for the corners, and a longer swipe aims higher. A fast swipe hits the ball harder, which gives the keeper less time but is harder to control. Curve your swipe and the ball bends in the air.
Saving a penalty
When the computer shoots, tap the spot in the goal where you want your keeper to dive. You can guess early during the run-up, or wait and react once the ball is struck. Guessing early gives you the best chance at a corner, but a smart penalty taker might go the other way.
Difficulty levels
- Amateur: the keeper often guesses wrong and the computer's penalties are wayward.
- Pro: a sharper keeper and better penalties.
- Legend: the keeper reads most shots and the computer hits the corners.
Tips
- Low shots just inside the post are the hardest to save.
- Do not aim right on the edge of the goal: a little curve can carry the ball wide.
- Mix up your corners. The keeper learns nothing from you, but it pays to vary your power too.
- When keeping, the computer favours the corners. Diving to the middle rarely works.
