How to play Water Sort
Each tube holds up to four layers of coloured water. Tap a tube to pick it up, then tap another tube to pour. You can only pour:
- onto the same colour, or
- into an empty tube, and
- only while the target tube has room.
When you pour, every matching layer on top moves at once if there is space. Clear the level by getting each colour into its own full tube.

Tips
- Keep at least one tube empty for as long as you can. It is your most valuable space.
- Before pouring, look at what is underneath the top colour. Uncovering a colour that already has a home is a good move.
- Build each colour on top of a tube that already has that colour at the bottom.
- If you get stuck, Undo a few moves or add the extra tube instead of restarting.
Questions
Is every Water Sort level solvable?
Yes. Every level is checked by a solver before you see it, so there is always a way to finish without the extra tube.
How many levels are there?
Levels never run out. The number of colours grows from three up to twelve, then levels keep being generated at that size.
Does it save my progress?
Yes. Your current level is saved in your browser.
